What we collect

The details you type into the brief form or send on WhatsApp or email: name, business name, email address, phone number and what you tell us about the project. When you visit the site we also record standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and, with your consent, analytics events.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, deliver the work you order, invoice you, and, if you ask for it, send the monthly newsletter. We do not sell or rent your details and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not choose.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in our email and project tools, hosted in the European Union, and in a client sheet with access limited to the Spinah team. Site backups are encrypted. We keep enquiry details for two years after the last contact, and client records for seven years for tax purposes.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets a session cookie for the contact form and, only after you accept, analytics cookies that help us see which pages are useful. You can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

Who we share it with

The companies that help us run the business, each under its own privacy terms: the email and project tools that hold enquiries, the hosting provider that serves the sites, the payment gateway that processes invoices, and the analytics provider if you accept analytics cookies. None of them may use your details for their own purposes. We share details with nobody else unless the law requires it.

Client websites

Sites we build and host for clients collect data on the client’s behalf under the client’s own privacy policy, which we draft for every launch. Spinah staff see that data only when doing work the client has asked for, such as fixing a form or restoring a backup, and never use it for anything else.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask for a copy in a usable format, or object to how we use it. Email hello@spinah.com and we respond within 14 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
